“I am honoured to take this moment to brag about Angela’s Yoga Programming for children and children with Special Needs. Angela works with children with Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Genetic Syndromes, Acquired Brain Injury and Autism and the list continues.

I had the privilege of watching Angela lead a group of neurologically different students with a variety of abilities through beautiful and accessible yoga sessions.  The children ranged in age from 4 years of age to 11.  The children had a range of physical and cognitive abilities such as verbal/nonverbal, tight tone/lose tone, children able to sit and stand independently and those requiring intensive one to one physical support to move.

Angela invited the children into a calming practice that captivated their attention from the moment she arrived.  Instructions were clear and modified to meet the children’s specific needs.  Each child felt successful and included.

Angela provided a very creative session involving a variety of props, stories, imagery and sequences of movement.

After the session, the children were calm, happy and empowered that they could do Yoga!

I have since gone on to learn and be mentored by Angela as a Special Needs Yoga Teacher.

I would recommend Angela if you are looking for excellent Children’s Yoga Programs, Yoga Programs for Children with Special Needs and Adult Yoga, (I have the pleasure of taking my own classes with Angela).”

“My daughter has very limited mobility. There are not a lot of activities that are actually inclusive. Angela’s adaptive yoga class has created a welcoming environment that has made my daughter’s self-confidence increase significantly because she can be a part of a group where she can ACTUALLY do what everybody else is doing.

This virtual class has been a blessing to our online experience, trying to keep connected with other humans. I am SO grateful for Angela and all she has to offer to kids with special needs.”

“Angela is a beautiful soul. Kind, gentle, and playful, capable of adapting each class to the clients she teaches, whether they are children, adults or both. Angela's ability to see and tune into differently-abled children is truly remarkable. She engages  the children with so much love, creating a fun, safe space for them to explore and flourish.”

Angela has been an amazing yoga instructor for our students at the CE Academy.

They look forward to her weekly class on Tuesday mornings. It has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to be in tune with their body, move freely, and work on their breathing. She has been incredible at engaging our students and meeting them where they're at. She makes the poses adaptable and inclusive for all learners. Each student benefits from it in many different ways. She has a creative, nurturing, and calm demeanor that our students really enjoy. We are so grateful for the opportunities she continues to provide for our students. She does not view their additional needs or devices as barriers but instead embraces them and incorporates it into our practice. Thank you Angela for making yoga possible for our students!
